The Process

I want a tattoo. What now?

1 - Get in touch.

Thinking about getting a tattoo? We are here for you! Simply get in touch with the Dark Trinity Art Studio and tell us what is your vision for your unique tattoo. We are here to help. It will be very helpful if you bring references of what you "like", as picture speaks a thousand words. In example: photos, screenshots on your phone from social media sites, prints etc. But remember, we are not copy machines and we may refuse to tattoo the exact copy of the tattoo/art you brought due to the copyrights, but we will design the unique piece just for you based on your likes and references. Why is that? Well think, do you really want to see the exact copy of  "your tattoo" on the person sitting next to you on the beach next summer? Probably not.  We work by appointment only. The main reason for this is that TATTOO IS FOR LIFE and this process should not be rushed. I'm sure that you've seen many holiday tats which were not really planned and done spontaneously and then regretted.

2 - Choose the placement of your tattoo and be "realistic about it"

Make a decision on where you want your tattoo on your body and be realistic about it. If you have no tattoos, it will not be wise to tattoo your neck, face or palms. Also remember that getting a tattoo on your upper arm (biceps), is far more "comfortable" than getting a tattoo on your ribs. We will always try our best to advise you on the placement which will complement the design on your body.

3 - Will it hurt?

While tattooing, the needle/needles puncture your skin at the rate of about  50 times a second, so yes you will feel it. But stay cool, there is some good news. Your body will be releasing the endorphins and adrenaline, which will help with pain.

It is proven that if you have a good night sleep and a good meal before your session, you are in much better form for a tattoo session, than after an all night Red Bull party. Also remember, if you arrive for your session under influence of alcohol or drugs, we will turn you away. And you will lose your deposit.

We are realistic and we want our clients to be as comfortable as possible while they are getting their tattoo. If you are struggling, we will take breaks. That is one of the reasons that we work by appointment only, as we are focusing on each client individually, by removing the "walk in tattoo shop" rush.

4 - How much is a Tattoo?

How much is a Tattoo? hmmm..... Well, if you go to the car dealership and ask them:"How much is a car?" what do you think their answer gonna be? "What model/year/option/colour/wheels/etc do you want?"

Same with tattoos. Every design is priced individually. During the initial consultation we will give you an idea on how much it will cost. Tattoo price will mostly depend on how big detailed the design is and body placement. On some occasions your tattoo may take more time to complete, if that's the case we will not charge you more than what was agreed beforehand, as it is important for us to give you the best tattoo and experience possible.

We will require 30% deposit when you book your session and you will pay the outstanding balance once tattoo is finished. If you wish to cancel your session for whatever reason, deposit will not be refunded.

Once you are booked with us, please, be on time. If you are 15+ minutes late we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment and keep 30% of your deposit. So keep it in mind to avoid disappointment.

And it's as simple as that!
